AMT is the standard technology for the high-end heavy duty trucks in the world, which is used in 58%of the trucks in Europe. SMARTSHIFT-AMT launched by China National Heavy Duty Truck Group co.ltd(Sinotuck) may enable the Chinese customers to enjoy the driving comfort of international high-end heavy duty trucks, so that the heavy duty truck technology in China is advancing towards the world's top list, which leads the heavy duty turcks in China(Asia) into the era of automatic shift.

SMARTSHIFT transmission of Sinotruk is the 16-speed electronic controlled and automatic tranmission and has higher fuel use effciency just like a highly skilled driver driving a truck.

The working principel of AT used in the cars is that the turbo drives hydraulic oil, which then drives the mechanical devices. In such condition, oil drive has large efficiency loss, which will generally consume 1-2 liter more fuel per 100 kilometers than the manual transmission.

AMT is that the mechanical transmission realizes automatic shift by electronic control. Similar to the maual transmission in the shifting operation, it releases the cluthc to raise speed or brake the transmission and fix the most proper shift automatically when engagine synchronously, which consumes 3-5% less oil than the manual transmission in genaral.

With A function(automatic shift): SMARTSHIFT controlled by the advanced programs may automatically choose the proper speed, to ensure the engine works in the range of economical speed all the time.

With M function(manual shift): In some special working conditions, this function may enable the driver to choose speed at his will.

With E mode(economical mode): The shift choice of SMARSHIFT is based on the optimum fuel ecomony ratio.

With P mode(power mode): The shift choice of SMARTSHIFT is based on the supplied maximum power output.

With C mode(crawler mode): In this mode, the transmission works automatically only between1-4 speeds, and this can provide stable speed and very large driving capacity for the operation under bad road conditions and heavy load.
